About the Position
Support Magento Developer
This Magento Developer is responsible for day to day support of a backlog of prior issues, as well as immediate troubleshooting of new developing issues. You will be our point person for anything “Weird” that may be happening in the system and your days will vary greatly. It’s the perfect role for someone that loves problem-solving and the joy of puzzles.
You will be working on existing systems, both built by our clients as well as by our in-house project team.
Responsibilities:
- Using your amazingly robust & solid Magento skills, you will troubleshoot urgent priorities and the backlog of prior reported issues. No joke, expect to ship like 200 things a year.
- You understand the underlying architecture, the implications, and the challenges presented by the framework Magento is built upon.
- You’ve worked with custom Magento modules, Blocks, Observers, Controllers, Models, Helpers, and SQL updates are all 2nd nature.
- Are awesome at front-end development
- Day to day can collaborate with your internal team + clients directly
- Are able to work independently, needing little direction but also working with the confines of the technical architects’ rules for the codebase.
Required:

You have at least 2 years of development experience in an agency environment, working on more than one project at a time.

5+ years of solid Magento development and implementation experience.

Proficiency in developing, debugging and optimizing complex PHP web applications.

Experience with servers (AWS ideally) is a huge plus.

Customer-focused with excellent follow through on commitments.

Experience using PHP to create and consume web services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST)

Can work capability on both front and back-end code
